News

Dear Students, Families, and Friends,

It is with deep emotion and immense gratitude that we share the news that the Dance Umbrella will be closing its doors after nearly 30 incredible years.

This journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. From our very first class to our most recent recital, every step has been filled with purpose, passion, and profound joy. What began as a small group of moms with a dream to create dance opportunities for their children, has grown into a vibrant community—one that has inspired creativity, confidence, and connection.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to every student who has walked through our doors. You brought energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to grow that made our studio come alive. To the parents and families who supported their dancers through late rehearsals, costume changes, and countless performances—thank you for trusting us with your children’s artistic journeys.

To our dedicated instructors—past and present—we are endlessly grateful for your commitment, talent, and the care you brought to every class. Your influence will continue to echo in the lives of the students you’ve inspired.

We are delighted that Carley Naka will be continuing our “Dance with me” Parent and tot program into the future. For details on the program, you can contact her directly at carleynaka@gmail.com

While the closing of our studio marks the end of an era, we are proud of all that we have accomplished together and grateful for the joy, creativity, and connection that filled our studio year after year.

Thank you for being a part of this beautiful chapter.
